Marketing Director/VP Marketing(E-commerce)

Based in Montreal, Canada, and for over 30 years, our client is a pioneer in the women’s intimate apparel industry. Renowned for quality, comfort, and elevated fit, each garment is meticulously crafted. Complemented by four sister brands, they offer a comprehensive range of intimate apparel for every occasion. Distribution includes both wholesale and DTC. The wholesale distribution consists of independent boutiques across North America and Europe as well as major Retailers, including Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Anthropologie are supported by a strong sales force. Our client is dedicated to their loyal customer base, taking pride in their ongoing efforts to advance product technology, deliver personalized and attentive customer service, and maintain a competitive pricing strategy.

We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Leader to drive forward our rapidly expanding e-commerce division. In the role of Marketing Director, you'll be instrumental in shaping the company’s overarching brand and marketing strategy across e-commerce and wholesale platforms, increasing website traffic, customer acquisition, and engagement. Leading a talented team, you'll craft a modern, global brand vision and implement cutting-edge digital marketing and social media strategies.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Marketing and Team Leadership:

  • Develop a compelling brand vision and ensure its consistent execution across all marketing channels, including eCommerce, wholesale, and digital platforms.

  • Formulate brand positioning strategies to set the company apart in the intimate apparel consumer market.

  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate the Marketing team, nurturing talent to drive collective success

E-commerce Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategies to raise brand awareness and increase website traffic through both paid and organic channels.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience and improve customer satisfaction.

Campaign Management:

  • Develop and oversee the creative and marketing execution of innovative social media and influencer campaigns engaging target audiences.

  • Establish campaign KPIs and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and external agency partners, ensuring flawless campaign execution.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of experience leading Brand and Digital Marketing teams for scaling brands in the fashion or intimate apparel industry

  • Demonstrated expertise in building consumer brands, developing consistent brand campaigns, and providing effective leadership.

  • Proven track record in digital marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, video content, and public relations.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach and resourceful problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative and hybrid environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities.

EDUCATION

  • University Graduate or Post Graduate with a Marketing, Communications or Business degree

  • Certification and training in Marketing, eCommerce Marketing, Growth and Performance Marketing,

  • Product Management or UX Design an asset
