Frontend Developer

About the Role:
We’re hiring a Frontend Developer on behalf of a creative agency that partners with brands in gaming, toys, sports, and entertainment to build lasting fan connection. From big ideas to final execution, the team creates kid-focused content and campaigns that spark excitement and turn young audiences into lifelong fans.
This role is part of a small, collaborative dev team responsible for building and maintaining scalable frontend solutions. You’ll lead the development of user-facing features and help shape best practices across digital projects. You’ll also collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to bring creative ideas to life through interactive, high-performance builds.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead development projects and support larger initiatives
Build functional components using React and Atomic Design principles
Collaborate with design, development, and strategy teams
Research and integrate new technologies into internal workflows and tools
Maintain and evolve internal development standards and systems
Ensure code quality through testing and peer reviews
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal libraries and frameworks
Keys to Success in this Role:
Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, modular CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
Expertise in React and hands-on experience with Next.js
Working knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs
Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, especially Figma
Understanding of UX principles including accessibility (ADA WCAG 2.0)
Comfortable with command line tools like NPM, NVM, and SSH
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
4+ years of experience delivering web projects in an agency or similar setting
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
