About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and strong-willed Director of PMO to join our team as a strategic value orchestrator and transformation catalyst. In this pivotal role, you will evolve the Project Management Office from traditional oversight into a strategic intelligence engine that drives digital transformation and measurable business outcomes in a fast-moving fintech and crypto environment.

As the PMO transformation leader, you will guide the shift from process-heavy governance to AI-enabled, data-driven value delivery. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will serve as the bridge between strategy and execution—ensuring project management practices become a true competitive advantage that fuels growth and market leadership.

This role requires a change agent with the confidence to challenge the status quo and the strategic mindset to enable organizational agility within a remote-first environment. You will be responsible for building a next-generation PMO that leverages artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and hybrid delivery models to deliver meaningful results. Your leadership will help foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous innovation aligned with a mission to democratize access to digital assets.

The ideal candidate is decisive, resilient, and highly effective in ambiguous environments, with the ability to influence outcomes across all levels of the organization—often without formal authority. You bring the courage to make difficult decisions, the foresight to anticipate market and regulatory shifts, and the execution discipline to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives through the PMO, establishing it as the strategic nerve center for cross-functional execution and value realization

  • Design and implement a modern PMO operating model that balances agile flexibility with appropriate governance to support rapid business evolution

  • Implement strategic foresight capabilities, including early-warning systems and trend analysis, to anticipate market, technology, and regulatory changes

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to defined quality standards

  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating appropriately to senior leadership

  • Orchestrate stakeholder alignment across technical teams, business leaders, and executive audiences through clear and transparent communication

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery across agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, ensuring the right approach is applied for maximum business impact

  • Ensure project documentation and reporting meet internal standards and external compliance requirements

  • Foster an innovation-driven mindset across project teams, encouraging experimentation, rapid iteration, and customer-centric thinking

  • Drive performance optimization through advanced metrics, outcome-based KPIs, and data-driven insights

  • Champion a culture of accountability and ownership, empowering teams through autonomy, clarity, and strategic context rather than micromanagement

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
