Dynamics 365 Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Manager Information Technology, the Dynamics 365 Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of the organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. The role serves as the primary technical resource for Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, workflows, and related Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

Working closely with business stakeholders, the Dynamics 365 Administrator will design and implement business processes, automation solutions, integrations, and data governance practices that improve operational efficiency, member engagement, reporting, and business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administration

  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment, including security, users, roles, business units, teams, and permissions.

  • Configure and manage tables, forms, views, dashboards, business process flows, and model-driven applications.

  • Support ongoing enhancements to the CRM platform and related business solutions.

  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and platform health.

  • Coordinate deployments, solution management, testing, and change control processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and user-reported problems.

Power Platform Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions that support operational and business requirements.

  • Create and maintain Power Automate flows to automate business processes and reduce manual effort.

  • Develop automated workflows for member management, business development, communications, approvals, and service delivery.

  • Build integrations between Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Support the implementation of Power Platform governance and best practices.

Workflow and Business Process Automation

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.

  • Create and maintain Business Rules, Business Process Flows, classic workflows, Power Automate cloud flows, approval processes, notifications, and escalations.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes.

  • Document workflows, automation logic, and system configurations.

Data Management and Governance

  • Maintain CRM data quality standards and governance practices.

  • Develop duplicate detection, validation, and standardization processes.

  • Support data imports, exports, migrations, and integrations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data ownership and stewardship practices.

  • Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and retention requirements.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Create dashboards, views, and reports within Dynamics 365.

  • Support Power BI reporting and CRM analytics initiatives.

  • Develop KPI dashboards that provide actionable business insights.

  • Assist leadership with data-driven decision-making.

Training and User Support

  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting.

  • Develop user guides, training materials, and operating procedures.

  • Deliver training sessions for staff and volunteers.

  • Promote adoption of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities across the organization.

System Integration

  • Support integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party applications.

  • Work with APIs, connectors, and middleware solutions.

  • Assist in the implementation of new systems and technologies connected to the CRM ecosystem.

  • Ensure secure and reliable data movement between platforms.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • College diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Experience building Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.

  • Experience configuring workflows, approvals, and business process automation.

  • Experience supporting enterprise CRM environments.

  • Experience with data migration, integration, and reporting.

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, or Customer Insights modules.

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 solution deployment and application lifecycle management practices.

  • Familiarity with Azure services and integrations.

  • Experience in membership, association, insurance, nonprofit, or education environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work will be performed at the company’s Canada’s Office and from home (hybrid work schedule) with occasional travel to seminars and/or training. Occasional evening and weekend work for problem resolution, or deadlines as required.

  • Regularly sits at a desk and operates electronic equipment

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer, telecommunications equipment and peripherals

  • From time to time, some lifting, up to 20 lbs. may be required to retrieve equipment

BENEFITS

Compensation: $95K - $105K base salary, plus a strong benefits and pension package.

Work arrangement: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the Toronto office.
