Ari Agency’s May Theme: Tackling the Money Question

Money is something that makes many of us nervous. In our day-to-day lives, we worry about whether we’re making enough, or we worry about whether it’s polite to ask and talk about money. Money makes us particularly nervous in our professional lives. If you’re anything like us, you know that jittery feeling you can get when you’re trying to figure out how to ask your manager for a raise or when an interviewer asks, “What are your salary expectations?”

With May’s Ari Agency Theme – whether you’re an employee, job seeker, or manager –  we’re hoping to ease your nerves when it comes to tackling the money question.

Throughout the month we’re going to gather together the best advice we can find from the experts who know what they’re talking about. We’ll ask HR and managers how you can best approach them to ask for a raise or address salary expectation questions. If you’re an HR rep or manager yourself, we’ll address how you can best tackle being on the receiving end of questions about money.

We’re excited to look at this time this month because it’s an important issue to us. Not just because we see a lot of people struggle with it. But because there’s a bigger picture here, and it’s not just about the money. You’re great at what you do. Your skills are valuable. They should be rewarded accordingly. All throughout May that’s our main goal: we want to help you get what you’re truly worth. Because you deserve it.
